Re: 1970 Loadstar CO-1800

It ain't gonna be cheap Mick that's for sure. I just about keeled over when I saw the price of the control valve! :o

In it's day that code was very common,we stocked the kits and that valve.

After you get an idea of what parts might be needed try Google with the IH pn's,you might be surprised what pops up.

Nice to have the parts manual isn't it?

Btw,did you ever post the LST?
12 yrs.exp. in IH dealer parts dept.

Yes it is nice to have the parts manual for the trucks.
I posted the LST in the second post on page 1 for the CO1800.
The LST for the CO1600 is on page 6.

Re: 1970 Loadstar CO-1800

Finally got the cleaned heads back and valves. Took a while to sand blast the heads and valve faces. Polished the valves and then painted the heads. Going back to the shop tomorrow to hopefully be built quickly. Next up the block and oil pan and I think that will be all of it needing to be cleaned, blasted and painted. On to cleaning up the front of the frame with a pressure washer.
