Rear door struts/stays

The rear doors on my metro look like at one time they had struts, or stays or whatever those things are called that keep the doors propped open.
Although my handy block of wood works,I would love to find a more elegant solution?!
A few gusts of wind have already caught me by surprise...
Anyone know what these doors came stock with, anyone have a pair of these thingamajigys for sale?
Thanks
Markus

I'll be down in Montana working on the van tomorrow. I'll take some pics.

Ugh. Struggling with photos. I tried setting up a photoshop account just now. Link above.
There are a few close ups of where struts attached to door and frame. Basically existing holes are
1 1/2" apart...
Some photos are of the diesel conversion I'm starting On the van. Not sure if that is of interest here or not... I'm trying to keep track of expenses etc and would gladly share details?
also just ripped out all the interior panels to insulate and try to reduce noise. I was pleasantly surprised by lack of rust etc...
Lots of digging to get the van moving in the yard And into the shop...it's a big snow year... after sitting in the cold for a almost 3 months she fired right up... almost made me question why I'm bothering with the diesel!!
Anyway, I know this is getting off topic. Sorry

Re: Rear door struts/stays

My experience with Photobucket was less than I had expectations for. I now use paint for editing my photos.
Because I use a Blackberry Priv to take all of my pictures I must use the paint to reduce the size of the picture. In my case the number that works is 15%. Because of different circumstances, some experimenting with that percentage may be necessary. I like paint because all of my photos stay in my computer picture files and under my control.
I don't know what security can be added to a Photo-Bucket account to limit roaming of persons following a link posted on a forum. I don't use PB so this is not one of my concerns.
Don't worry about "off-topic". It is your thread and anyone having a problem with this, "take a pill." If it were not for off-topic on some of the threads on this forum could put a person to sleep.
