I recently was lucky enough to have the opportunity to acquire this all original 1948 KB-3 Metro. All complete and original body, original paint with no rust issues. Completely unmolested. It was used by an electric company in the Los Angeles area way back when. Judging by the condition of the van I have to guess the miles on the odo are original. This one will sit on the back burner for awhile while I finish a couple other vehicles, but I plan on making it something very special.

For the time being I am just getting all the electrical up to speed and rebuilding the front grill since 18 of the grill bars were broken out and missing when I got it. I had new bars made so if anyone needs some let me know and we can work something out.

Take a look at the grill. Can you tell a difference between the 34 original bars and the 18 new ones?

What a great find! I hope you plan on keeping it unmolested. That's the 1st K series Metro I've seen in that condition that I can recall.
