Re: Perhaps Help for Mr Valentino?

My uncle Hans was a Snap-On dealer in Southern Alberta, around Brooks and Tilley, in the 1950's. I do not remember what he had for a tool truck, but it is possible that he had a METRO because that may have been the best option, at that time. I do not know if this was his METRO, but is was for sale a hundred kilometers from where he farmed and ran is business. I am looking through my files for the telephone number of the seller and if it is still for sale, and with his permission, I will poste the information. I had wanted to buy this METRO, but my other half said that I might have to sleep in it, if I do. I'm looking for our camping cot.
I'm thinking that a Cummins 4bta would just fit and - - - - - - - - - I could store a few things in it, next to the camp cot, of course.
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have

Re: Perhaps Help for Mr Valentino?

I think you should buy it.
You can visit in your beautifully restored Metro.
With many mechanical and electrical updates, of course.

Re: Perhaps Help for Mr Valentino?

Thanks Smog_Guy, Some very cool pictures. I wish the paint was a little better so I could see what else was written. I have an idea what I'm painting on it, the logo will be a little different, this truck is newer then mine. To be period correct I need to use the older logo. But you notice that they couldn't bring them eles to put white walls on it (Ha-Ha)
