It's hard to believe that it's been a year since I've updated the blog, but it hasn't been due to being lazy, we've been working our butts off..Enjoy

Wow fantastic read in your blog and this is coming up a treat.

? Will you make your 2014 deadline you set way back at the start.

The name James Suldana rings a bell would that be the sprintcar driver by any chance.

Keep up the great work looking forward to seeing this one back up and running.

We are trying to make the deadline. My body guy is on his fourth deadline. Trying for November because we are planning on using it as the tow vehicle during qualifying for my Funny Car driver Cruz Pedregon at the NHRA Finals.

Congratulations! Feels good to hear it run the first time, doesn't it?

Yes, after all that time of just bits and pieces everywhere to hearing it run is great. It sounds so good to, the video dosen't do it justice of how good it sounds.

Does anyone have a picture of how the pedals attach to the frame? I know I took a picture of it but can't find it.

Well another deadline missed. Not going to make it to the NHRA Finals with the truck to pull the Snap-on Funny car to the line. We are shooting for the Winternationals in February. But if you do go to the races or watch them on TV, you will see my name on the window of the car. I have some more things to post later, I'll leave you with this.

Re: 1951 Metro- The Restoration Begins

I really like how you have decided to do a proper restoration on your METRO. This is the only way to restore a vehicle. There is way too much piecemeal rattle can work. I cannot imagine that there are any savings. A METRO is my all time favorite. If I had one, it would have CUMMINS POWER.
Good job there Mister.

Re: 1951 Metro- The Restoration Begins

I always like to do an original or at least a period correct restoration. My little Healey is period correct, the supercharger and stripes are correct for the era and just make it cool. My big Healey will be correct as correct can be. The Metro will be correct for a Snap-on truck of that era. Not to start a debate here, but I want people to see how these cars were back in the day. I have new cars that I can go drive, I want to feel how these cars drove back then. Years from now I don't want people to think that these Metros came with a Hemi and airbags.
