Re: fusible link

We had a couple of S-2200's in our tractor fleet. Once I was in Chicago, and lost the brake/tail lights,on the tractor and trailer. I called the shop,(in Iowa),and the mechanic told me the circuit breaker was located behind the driver's seat. I pulled the cover, and there were several "breakers",labeled per circuit. I ,I found the correct "breaker",re-set it,(like he told me over the phone),and I was able to make it home that night. They had Cummins Big Cam 2's with a 6-speed Fuller. They'd run 70 all day long, but the speed limit was 55 anyway,so...

Re: fusible link

One of the electronics guys, at work, got into one of the ECUs and made a few changes. First gear in the WT automatic transmissions were blocked, second gear became first. The ramp-up on the throttle response was restricted in the lower gears and WOT was only available while under way and related to load. Without the restrictions, a mid-ranger could do a burn-out. The engines were Cummins "C"
