The 6th annual Antique Truck Club of America show, IH Chapter #27, Vintage Trucks of Florida, will be held in Leesburg, Florida beginning Feb. 14 thru Feb. 16, 2019. To be held at Stewart Paqquette’s International Farmall Museum property off state highway 44. Visit their website for more information and entry form. And if you can’t bring your truck(s), still come by and see the show. Everything from pick-ups of all makes to large road semis and/or fire trucks, etc. There’s a tractor pull track and plenty of high performance action there, too, in addition to full run of the entire museum sights. I promise you won’t be disappointed. The only aspect not in abundance is a swap meet, but even that has a few participants. However, there is a recreation of an IHC dealership with a parts department on the grounds and items for sale. As an extra added attraction, Stew Paqquette has a small herd of American bison on his property adjacent to the show.

This show just finished and I had a good time as always. Saw Dan Cornet of this forum there again, but due to three guys already occupying my time, Dan and I didn’t get to talk much. There seemed to be more heavy trucks this year than past years and not as many light trucks showed up. The tractor pulling held peoples attention once it got underway. Due to the truck show being help simultaneously with the tractor show, a lot of attention is paid to the tractors and parts vendors on site specialize more toward tractors than trucks. This year seemed to have more fire trucks grouped together than past as well. A couple of the outstanding fire trucks are pictured below. I took a lot of photos to hopefully entice you guys to come south and enjoy the trucks at next year’s event.
