Wonder what's up with the hidden hinges with a "R" hood/grill. Looks like somebody did a great job of restoring the truck. Makes no difference to me, its there to do with what they want. Thanks for the pictures.

I think it might have been easier to find the newer hood and grill for the Truck. Local fellow here did the same thing with a 51. looked good.

Right you are, I didn't even think about the year mismatch before I posted it. The owner kept calling it a '53. It looks like a mixture of parts. It began life as a dealer parts truck and was not sold and titled until '57.
