Man, it was brutal. Brutal, I tell you!
The temperature both days was way, way up there - scorching - maybe 85 or 86
The wind was howling at, oh, 10 - 15 miles per hour
The skies were, well, clear, clear I tell you and there was no shade, except for the Oleanders and Palms
The sand was endless, stretching for as far as you could walk, all the way to the water
The Palm trees were, uh, leaning - a little
We had to watch (and listen to) a rocket launch Friday night from the Cape
The gals were wearing bikinis - and they made us watch that, too. You couldn't look away, they made us!
And Saturday and Sunday we had to listen to all that racket from the extreme off-shore racing boats competing
And the cars - oh the inhumanity of it - were so alluring, seductive and attractive we almost broke down
Man it was brutal, but I survived, even the torturous, endless questions about my truck. Why, oh why, was I the only International in this place?
Please, for the sake of the world, please, please send more Internationals to help me fight the battles. I can hold'em off for a while, but please send re-inforcements as soon as possible!
