Well, I put the check and entry form in the mail today and my Social Director is Ok with me spending both Saturday and Sunday at the show. The only thing now is to hope for good weather and no problems while traveling!

....job's not done until the paper work's complete!

BTW. Since you've been there before, is there anything I need to know about where to park or ???? Should I bring a portable shade (10x10 tent)? Other pointers?

A pop-up is a good idea for shade, since it is an open grassy area. They will show you where to park, as they try to group the vehicles by model, but that doesn't always work. If you would like to go for a ride in an old biplane, they will be giving rides. Last year the rides were $90.00 and flew you around for a good view of Troy then a pass over the show field. the Saturday evening bar-b-que is always a good time, it is in the Hampton hotel's lot.

Will probably bring the pop up. The plane ride sounds fun. Always wanted to ride in an open bi-plane. Not so sure I'll make the BBQ, although it sounds fun too. I'll probably be expected back at my sister-in-law's for dinner. (....need to keep the Social Director happy to be able to do these kinds of things, you know?)

Gathering up what I need for the Nats, will load up the KB caravan tomorrow so I can head out early Friday morning. Hope to see you all there. I hope it's not like last year, a down pour right before I pulled in.
