NATS 2013

• Good Evening Everyone! As most of you know we are coming up on our deadlines for our rooms in Troy!!! The Fairfield Inn & Suites have 20 rooms left, Residence Inn has 40 and the Hampton Inn has around 10 left (maybe). The dates these are reserved for are August 8,9 and 10, 2013.
• Residence Inn and Fairfield have extended the date until July 3rd and the Hampton Inn has extended the date to July 10th
• SO for all my favorite PROCRASTINATORS get your rooms ASAP!!! (still smiling )
• We are staying at the Fairfield Inn and we are staging the BBQ out of the Fairfield because of the construction at the Hampton. There is a huge field between the two hotels and we are able to walk and stage the BBQ there (as long as there is no rain). I was thinking that we could all circle around the BBQ with our vehicles—with the tailgates facing into the center---just a thought!

To update you on the a Hampton Inn construction---Shila says the parking lot should be ready to go on our dates for the show and the construction should be complete---however, the new rooms may not be available because of timing and details (but we already knew that  )

Dirk has agreed to go up in the airplane to take pictures of the all the IH vehicles that will be there on Saturday. There is an awesome driving tour of 60 Hand Painted Quilt Panels on 60 barns in the area and the gentleman has free hand painted them—I have seen 4 of them and they are gorgeous!!, there are tours of the canals, tours of the historical area and many quaint little stores in downtown Troy---lots to do if you are adventuresome!!


The BBQ is coming along and I am still diligently working on getting donations—still need hamburgers, salads, chips, condiments and paper goods--hey--I still have 44 days til I leave to go to Troy for the show ......lots of time right!!!! Now will someone stand still time for 4 days and then I got this please.................................
• We enjoyed seeing some of you this past weekend at RED POWER ROUND UP in Lima, Ohio and are looking forward to seeing you all at the Nationals!! We will start the countdown when we have 30 days to go—I know I will have plenty of help with this 

A word to the wise about the upcoming Aug IH show. I just goggled the air field, as you would expect, for an air field not a shade tree in sight. Best throw in you 10 X 10 easy up shelter and a bag chair. Cooler might not hurt too. Looking forward to an all IH show

Got room booked last week, booked flights yesterday. Just have to rent a car, likely go to Reds game on Sunday.

Only 2 weeks till the Nats, who all is going? I will be there.

Just a few days till the IH Nats in Troy, Ohio. Hope everyone has the new date and location. I plan to be there Friday afternoon provided all goes well.

Not a problem I think there are a couple of steak houses just across the street from the Fairfield inn!!!
