2023 10th Annual Vintage Trucks of Florida

This year saw a change in venue due to the passing of the previous host. This year the event was held at the Sumter County Fair Grounds in Bushnell, Fl. A usual cast of participants were on site and the one participant I had not seen before is shown in the attached photo. The truck is a1940 Diamond T with an International motor. It was used in the circus trade as a portable cannon to shoot a human into a net some distance away. In the photo, there is a cap over the barrel of the cannon that is used during transport but removed for the “firing” of the human. Certainly not a sight that one sees frequently.
