I think the
Coo coo may refer to a governor activated locking differential. I remember someone saying the lock-up can happen violently if the set-up is not correct. I was told the centrifugal force from the spinning axle components causes a pendulum action to make the lock happen. I have little to do with Chevy. I tried Googling for an answer and got very little. The coo coo term might be a local colloquialism.

this is listed locally to me and Nikki, I've asked a few people what they thought a coo coo clock rear end is, no one knows for sure,

I thought about contacting the guy to ask him, but he might think I'm interested in his train wreck
