Pretty cool, even thou its a "R"

If I had cash to buy this, first thing would be is put a L grill on it. Get rid of the bass mouth R grill.

Now that is a unique truck. I did not even know such a custom built was ever available. Big money though. I have no problem with the R grille either.

Re: Pretty cool, even thou its a "R"

I'm a little skeptical that it is factory, a few things look funny, factory crummys had a longer wheel base and bed wouldn't be shortied

that much, being 3 door keeps with factory design for back then , a customizer might have made it true 4 door

done well though, could be possibly be factory, I'd like to see what's going on behind the headliner, that would be the answer,

in any case lots of bondo under all that cracking paint,

Since it was apparently a state owned truck, it may have been ordered new as a crew cab and modified by a body company such as Orville.

Very nice, rather high price. Like Ralph, I like the R and the L grills. in fact, like them all, very tastefully designed to stand out among the contemporaries.

It would be interesting (not at that price however) As for the "Bass mouth grill" I kinda like the one on mine ;)

I have a soft spot for the R's. My first binder was an R and I wish I still had it. (full story in last month's Corbinder Connection ) ;)

Like that big ol' goofy grin- looks like it's sayin' "HI! I'm from Ohio!"
"How the heck did that happen?"
