Re: 47 International Knox Box - $250

I wish I lived closer. I'm in Central, CA.
The Knox boxes I've seen in CA were smooth on the outside and had a truncated pyramid-style diamond plate inside. Bed had KNOX on it maybe 5 or 6 inches tall.
This looks like a fancy IHC bed from that era?
Does it say Knox on it anywhere?
Anyway, I wish I was in your neighborhood.
Good Luck on the sales. Don

That isn't a Knox Box. It is the standard long wheel base bed. The Knox was smooth on the sides with a wood bottom. Tailgate said Knox.

Re: 47 International Knox Box - $250

That is the 8 1/2' IH bed, not a Knox. A Knox had smooth sides, no ribs, and a wood floor for the light duty Knox, then the medium duty Knox had the diamond plate sides and a wood bed and the heavy duty Knox coal and gravel box had the diamond plate sides, bottom and tail gate with a chute in the middle of the gate.
