Re: 1951 1952 Panel Van

That T'all looks like a hard-sell. The bidding is slow to nonexistent. I would like to have a good running T'all, but...not this one..
There is a garage kept T'all, 1953, 4 blocks east of here. The owner claims it has been in his family since new. The hood and grill and fender hinges do not match, so the hood just sits there. I have all of the parts to make this truck right. The owner asked if he could buy some correct Sheetmetal. Well, times have changed and I might sell a few of the bits to the T'all owner.
I have made several offers to buy the neighborhood T'all.

surprisingly not that rusty, usual lower butt rot, but rest of it pretty solid.

I drove one of those stone stock daily for over 10 year,

that one is definitely sun kissed.

Re: 1951 1952 Panel Van

Some years ago, my son and I drove to Sicamous, BC, to look at and possibly buy a yellow T'all. It looked really good from 10 meters. An up-close and personal inspection showed heavy rusting in the areas you mention BRG.
Some parts of the interior sheetmetal were hacked open with what might have been a axe.
This yellow T'all returned to one of the southern states where it started its life as a school bus in 1953-1954.
This yellow T'all was discussed on this forum. I wonder who has it now.

I guess the oil pan in back is off motor in van. I wish they would have taken some pics under hood. Looks like Army green on door jam under red paint.
