Jon - Wondering how you are valuing the brightwork? Am guessing high value attached to the filler /transition pieces at the end of the hood? Stickman 207

I see hood scoops $150 each,
headlight rings if not smashed $150 each,
grill center $80
parking lights $60 each
front bumper $350-$450
fenders $200-$350 each
nose sheet metal $200
door handles $60 each
doors $200-$300 each,
not counting inside cab, if a radio $250-$350
fresh air heater $200
knobs $60 each

prices could vary by region but that is what I get

parts do not go on blue light sale at Walmart very often

Thanks Jon- It also looks like the truck has non-split ring wheels, which is a good thing in my opinion. -Stickman 207

Re: NJ - S-series truck

I went to see this truck

Took a rollback, cash, and a general understanding the truck could be had for about $300 . . . maybe more, maybe less.

I left with an empty rollback - not much there usable.

Keep in mind this is in NJ, and has been sitting outdoors for years.

Headlight rings are broken
Grille is damaged/rusty
Front bumper bent/rusty
All the sheetmetal has rot of some kind - the fenders are pretty bad, the left side is rotted through on the top beside the hood.
There is no driveline - engine and transmission removed years ago
At the time I looked at it she had no title, so for those of us in the area getting rid of the remains can be a problem.

The original farm name/lettering is still clearly visible on the doors

The current owner inherited this truck and a few others, along with several tractors. I believe she is trying to organize an auction . . .

If anyone has any interest in something from this truck please feel free to contact me. I'm considering going back for the dash - yes it has some nice knobs and bezels, and some other small parts I could see myself storing. I could pick the truck up and store it for a short while, or take it apart and ship what you're after to you. Might be worth a conversation . . .

yep, pics can be deceiving sometimes, I bought a 1956 Travelall based on a crappy cell phone pic, guy swore it was straight, no rust.
had a guy haul it to me, whole back end was smashed in and frame was bent, had big rust holes,
