Odd way to build a bus, most are coach-built from the cowl back, that one has a complete truck cab and bus grafted on.

probably was a crummy to haul workers to mines or forestry job site, they look like this instead of school bus,

When I was a kid going to school in the sixties one of the bus drivers drove an A series Travelall. Blue and white. Another had a full size B series with the conventional bus body smoothly blended into the front cowl of the IH. Probably a "Canadian Bluebird Coach" like the Ford I rode in.
