Sure is nice to look at. I love the lines of a D. Especially the front end.

Guys, it looks like the box on my 1940 D-2. I say it's correct. And yes, LOOKS like a K series box.

I'm thinking this must be some kind of transitional box going from D series to K, then

I believe the D boxes were changed in 1939 to the K type box. Here are pictures of my 1940 D-15H as found and restored . It has the K type box.

Davemac- Nice job on the restoration-it looks great! Is it the same cab as a D-30? I had one which I sold about a year ago an now want another D-series- Stickman207

The only difference that I have seen in a D-15 and a D-30 cab are the cab mounting brackets. The fenders are larger on a D-30, but the cab, hood and grill are the same.
