Re: Donations to help support OldIHC

That is a good Question, it's answer I do not know. If anyone else knows, Please speak up. I will also see what I can find out.
I found this on the web: http://www.classictruckposters.com/matts-truck/

A person might have to contact Jim Hanson to see if they have anymore info. The last new thing I saw on the above site was in November of 2012.
another thing I found: http://www.nj.com/hunterdon-county-demo ... s_old.html

I tried to make a donation, it was returned. Something about some hack or something. It is not much but like to help if I can.

Re: Donations to help support OldIHC

Was this the link you tried: http://oldihc.info/donate.html
seemed to work for me, at least it opens up to a Paypal option. If it does not go thru, let me know, you can either send it to me and I can pass it on, and let Jim know the thing is broken, if it is. I know Jim has moved, so not sure if the address is his new one or old one for mailing. I will ask him.

Re: Donations to help support OldIHC

I have not found anything more than what anyone can find on the internet. Perhaps John Hansen can answer, I have not received any response that I am aware of when I have tried to contact him. This "Mats Dump Truck" Was his baby.

Re: Donations to help support OldIHC

The last appeal for money was around the beginning of December, 2015. That is six months ago. I will be donating in December and not before.
The reminder for a donation should be from JH, only.
What happened to "The IHC book" some random person was going to publish. The person asked for pictures and money. Where is the book and the money?. I doubt that any person could do a better job than Crismon.

Re: Donations to help support OldIHC

Donate or not, that is up to each person. As for the Book, I have no clue, did not give any money or pictures.
I have always maintained that there should be a small yearly fee to be a Full member. That is not Jim's desire as I understand it and I will abide by his wishes.
I personally do not know how much is needed to run the site. I do know that Jim funds whatever is needed over and above any donations. He has in the past, funded all costs out of pocket. He like a lot of us, is retired and gets by.
He puts a lot of time into software work and in the back ground work.
What I have put down here is all from ME.

I don't mind paying. I get a lot of entertainment for my money.
