Automatic login - doesn't work

This is the only site that I login to on a regular basis that requires me to enter my login information every time I visit. Even if I check the box to log me in automatically every time I return, it will still force me to login again if I have closed my browser since the last time I was logged in. I use Chrome, but it does the same thing with IE when I tried it there.

Just an FYI

Re: Automatic login - doesn't work

Appreciate the heads up, after an upgrade from the developers, this feature now has the option to either leave it "logged" in all the time, or to set specific times for the system to auto log out. It is a security feature. We have at this time, chosen to have a specified time for the system to log out. It is annoying, but even for me " I leave the computer logged on all the time and the site up" it will auto log me off after the specified time. Do you have to re-enter your info, or is it still there?(user name/password)

I will speak with Jim, perhaps we can work on the Auto log in issue.

"Keep me logged in" is broke in this version.
I just hope that it gets fixed in the next release..
I agree that it is a pita to keep logging in all the time.

Re: Automatic login - doesn't work

it is not that much hassle, so i guess i have gotten used to it. all i have to do is type in the first two letters of my user name, it pops up, hit the down arrow, then hit enter twice and i am in. the first time pulls up my password, the second time enters the site.

Re: Automatic login - doesn't work

Oh it's not that big a deal, I just thought I'd post this up to see if in fact this was a site issue and not just my pos computer's issue...lol. I'm not very familiar with this particular type of software that you're using here now. I prefer the vbulletin forum software - however I know its probably somewhat expensive. Beggars can't be choosers!!
