D-2

Just acquired this 1937 although there are conflicting numbers, the title states 1937 but a data plate (removed) indicates it would be a 1940 according to the WI historical records. I will be working on the truck later this month for about 8 days at its location in central Wisconsin with the goal of getting it functional at a very basic level, brakes, engine running...maybe. I will NOT do any work other than mechanical to that end as I want to retain its originality, especially since the rear of the cab suggests it was a dealer truck, perhaps from the beginning. I have obtained one 16" artillery wheel that I will mount as the spare but would like to find 4 more to complete the proper look, anyone?

Re: D-2

Look for the chassis number to better verify the year, it should be on the frame rail, drivers side in front of the spring hanger. Just a thought.
