Howdy from Nebraska

Well this old Chevy guy got bit hard by the IH bug. In the last 3 months I picked up two 1100 pickups - a 66’ and a 67’. Both run and am driving the 67’.

I have a question about the ‘66. I believe that the paint is original. Can anyone confirm that they offered a two tone paint option. I had heard this may have been a dealership truck. Any insight is much appreciate. Tech specs - 1966 1100A, 304, 4 speed with AC with “Custom” badges.

I believe red and snow was a custom color, but only back east where the temperature is colder.
Google should have most of the IHC paint colors. I did fine the color charts at one time
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have
Thinking risks being controversial and possibly being offensive

Re: Howdy from Nebraska

Dicon,
Welcome to the site! Two-tone paint was a factory option at least as far back as the R series in the mid '50s.

Here is a link to color charts. https://oldinternationaltrucks.com/colour-charts/ Scroll down for '66 and '67.

These are standard colors- IH would paint almost any color you wanted for an extra charge. Order a Line Setting Ticket if you want to know exactly how it left the factory.
