How’s it going?

How’s it going? I miss the old days when I used to post here all the time...

I’ve given up on IH tractors. I’ve sold off a lot of my projects. I’m getting old and realize I’m just never going to get that many finished.

I still have my ‘56 S-120, my ‘67 Scout and my ‘64 Loadstar. The Loadstar is on the bubble. I’ve had it advertised, then taken it off.

Anybody here from the old days?

Re: How’s it going?

Great to hear from you SJ, I think of you every time I am out in the sandhills, still in McPherson county?
Getting older myself, but as my dad reminds me, better then alternative!
edit:
I too have some projects I need to let go, I haven't yet but know it what is needed. I have saved them from the crusher, now it needs to up to someone with more time to take it further.

Nice to her from you SJ. I am Nikkinutshop now, I used to be ISB Cornbinder. We talked on the phone a few times when you worked for the county.
Happy New Year.

Hello Sir, Good to hear from you. Miss your posts. Yes, as we age, it becomes time to "thin the herd" and pass on the torch to someone else.

Re: How’s it going?

Yup, still out here in mcpherson county. I’m trying to transition into working for myself, doing some woodworking out of my new shop. I’m getting old, I just don’t like having a boss anymore, except my wife of course!

I have the scout in the shop, need to get back to it. The leak down test looked good, I think it will run (196). The plan is to remove it and do a thorough replacement of gaskets and seals.

At any rate, hope you are all well!
