Old guy returns

Have not been on in a long time, so thought I would say hello here. I moved 3 years ago to Grand Junction CO. Had a bad fall in the move, lost a kidney. Currently undergoing recon on an infected l shoulder replacement. Enough about me. Newest vehicle to my collection is a 1912 Auto wagon model MA. Other vehicles are, 1917 Model F, 1950 L122 with SV345 and Automatic, 1964 Scout 80 halfcab. Hope to get the last surgery on shoulder in March and be back to work getting the Auto Wagon to run this summer.

Welcome back, Mike. It's been a long time. I think about you when someone posts about a pre-40 IH truck or asks about putting an SV engine in an L/R/S series. I miss your pictures that were on the old site.

Good to see you back Mike, Hope all goes well on your shoulder. I can't believe its been 3 years since your move and fall. Sounds like you have been having a rough ride. Hope it smooths out soon. Luke

Re: Old guy returns

Welcome back. And a question for you or the group.

I’m at a loss as to finding the serial number on my 1917 model F. There are plenty numbers stamped here and there, most of which ending with the letter F. (Front and rear axles, engine block, sub-frame, etc.). But nothing that ends with the letter “R” as I would expect.

Does your model F have a proper vehicle serial number somewhere?
