Hello from the Ozarks

Hi.
I like your site and to see IH enthusiasm.
This is my 1st IH.
1966 1700 AWD.I think it has a 345 ci motor.
It appears to have been a US Air Force then US Forestry then volunteer fire protection truck.A man I buy farm tractor parts from told me that it may have started out as a dump truck in Alaska.
The odometer shows 16,000 miles and the foot pedal pads appear to reflect that.
I've been self employed for life.Mechanic, carpenter, welder etc.Master of none.
I live back deep in the woods.Poor hearing.Poor to no cell signal.Satelite dish I.P..Desk top computer that I do not know how to use very well.
Not complaining.Just the way it turned out.
I'll try to find out how to downsize a picture to post.
Before I head to the repair forum I'd like to thank in advance the moderators and contributors to this site for their time and sharing experience.
Maybe I can chip in sometime.

Re: Hello from the Ozarks

Kurt,
Welcome to the site and welcome to International Harvester! There are one or two other medium duty all wheel drive trucks on here.
You can use Paint or a photo editing software to downsize pictures.
