am attaching a photo of my new 1949 KB-3. Hoping that I can get advice from all of you as my daughter and I work through this fun project.

Nice looking truck, just take your time and do not get discouraged. Lots of different ideas on what "can" be done to a vehicle on this site. My advice is to get it safe and see what you like and dislike about how it is at that point.
