Hello from central Wisconsin

New to here to learn from the group and get my Wife's valentines day present back on the road. So get a call from my wife saying she wants this farmers old truck behind the house for a daily driver. Well its a 1956 S112 that has not moved in 7 years but he has owned it for 30 plus.

Let the adventure begin. The truck is home and needs some serious tcl. She has bad knees so we are looking at a street rod style rebuild so she can have an automatic and a little lower step to get into it.

The truck only has 18,xxx.xx miles on it and is overall not to bad for a barn find. If anybody is interested in buying the running gear let me know.

In advance thanks for having a great site.

I have a 56 s112. Same color too. Yours looks nice and straight. Good base to work from. Your headlight rings look real good. I've been looking for a set of headlight rings for two years. Good luck.

Welcome to the site from another S series owner! I agree with what John said, you've got a good starting point. Thanks for the pics.

Thanks for the welcome.

The head light rings have a few dents but look savable. The body is ok, but looks like a lot of old body work under it. Should be fun.

Re: Hello from central Wisconsin

Tim,
You are a lucky man. I bring an old car or truck home on the trailer and my wife just rolls her eyes at me as I go by. Anyway looks like a great truck to work with and sense you are not going stock the sky is the limit. Your truck is a little older than mine so I don't know how much help I can be. But I will follow your progress on the site.
Good Luck!
