1947 KB2

Thanks for including me in the forum. My name is Charlie. I live in MN and currently own a 1975 IHC pickup and a 1970 IHC Travelette. The 75 is my daily driver around the farm, but I have a new add. I just picked up a red 1947 KB2 (barn find) and might fall for this one. I just got it settled into a storage location in one of the barns, but will do a light restoration after my current project is completed (a '73 FJ40...am I allowed to mention those on this page?). Anyway I will probably start a search for a Green Diamond engine (mine is toast) and be asking for help on a number of other topics. Thank you all in advance for your support - Charlie

Welcome to the site! You have a nice collection, over a wide span of years. Proves you can't have just one Binder!

Charlie,
Your 47 looks to be all there and in pretty good shape. Are you going back all original with it or do you have something else in mind?
Keep those pictures coming.

I don't know where to find a engin, but for part I can help a little if you are going to rebuild.

Really nice KB. I have a GRD214 available, but I'm out in El Paso. Was running when removed. Hector

Mark, I was thinking of new seating (seat belts etc) and then getting everything fully functional. I want to keep the patina etc etc. so I won't paint it more than is necessary to keep it from rusting

Charlie, click his name and send him an email, sometimes we do not get on as often as we would like. He was last on Sunday.
