New Guy 1947 KB-2
Hi everybody. Thanks for having me. My name is John Seymour and I live in Southern California. Last month I retired from working 47 years in the same industry. I also purchased my original, running, driving (barely) KB-2. I have been an old car guy since I was a teen. I enjoy working on these old cars as much or more than I do driving them. I also have three other cars. I own a 1951 Studebaker Champion, a 1963 Econoline window van and a 1953 Autoette (a little 3 wheel electric vehicle manufactured in Long Beach, CA).
My KB-2 has the original paint with a nice patina. It is straight and unmolested. It is a three on the tree and has 3.72 gears.
What it needs to be a good driver is work on the steering. I will discuss this on a separate post.
Thank you,
John Seymour
