New member from Virginia

Hello everyone, my name is Jake and I have been lurking on this forum for some time. I've finally made the leap to join after getting involved with a project IH pickup that belongs to my dad.

I'll try posting a photo below. I look forward to sharing with the IH community some of my IH experiences and projects.

Welcome aboard! lots of good people here. We always like pictures, and like any place, we all have different views on "how to build it".

Re: New member from Virginia

Thanks guys, I've got plans for this pickup that I hope to be able to post as the project progresses. There is no title for the truck and as I mentioned before it belongs to my dad. There's actually a pretty cool story about it that I can't wait to share. Let's say the story has been a long time in the making.

I only intend to repair the truck enough to make it a farm truck. It's a 1956 S120 4x4 that I think will work great for short trips to the farm 1/2 mile away as well as occasional trips to town and to visit my folks (10 miles or so). Dad and I have made an agreement that he gets to drive it once in a while if I make the repairs.

Thanks for the suggestion about Leon's, it's been about 20 years since I've been there. My brother and I checked it out many moons ago, I remember being completely overwhelmed by the sheer size of the place.
