Hi fellas,

It's been about 6/7 years so since I was consistnely on here. I'm still about a year and a half from being back in full-swing with my restoration, but I'm getting started again. I own a 1951 L-112.

When I started the restoration, I had no idea what I was doing (and still have only a little clue). I did a bunch of body work, cleaned up the fuel lines/carb, converted it to a 12v starting system, and did some really patchy electrical work. Now, I've pulled the radio and am working on restoring that in my little Chicago condo while the rioters and helicopters go past

For ease of keeping my own journey organized and to avoid the photo restrictions, I've started a website inspired by restoring cornelia/cornelius. Since the creator of that site did so well in documenting a lot about the truck itself, I probably won't expand my site; I'll just use it to post updates.

There's only one post on it right now, though I'll be going back into the archives to add more about what I've already done. Feel free to subscribe to get updates on the restoration if you want to follow/give me advice/razz me for stupid mistakes I'm bound to make. And you can be sure I'll be on here often with questions. :P

My L-112 restoration site: https://RestoringWalter.com/. If that link gives you any issues, you can also use this one: https://carlson1858.wixsite.com/restoringwalter

Cheers and stay safe,
Nic
