first time IH owner

Good morning all I recently purchased a super solid 1949 kb-1 from the granddaughter of the original owner. The truck has been in their family for 70 years and was used for deliveries for a general store they owned in southern Ontario. The truck is mechanically tired and I was really surprised to see how difficult it can be sourcing parts for IH. I need someone to re-build the original GRD 214 and if the cost of restoring the truck to stock is too high, I may sell the truck or choose to hotrod it. I was hoping for feedback and advice on a stock restoration, since this is my first choice. Thanks

There are often many folks who "change out" their motors. Look to that possibility. How many miles on the truck? Pictures are always appreciated.
