I have a 1949 KB-3 my grandfather bought new. It has 31,000 miles on it and was in the barn for 30+ years. I got it out a few years ago and got it running but put it back in the barn after having to weed eat around it too much. I just got it back out of the barn and am looking forward to getting it running again.

Welcome to the site! Your truck's in great shape, and it's a piece of family history.

Got Truck running, but it will die after a few minutes. Before it dies, it purrs like a kitten. Usually dies before I finish a lap around the yard. I drained 8 gallons of varnish from tank and replaced with fresh gas.

It looks like a KB-5, I don't think the -3's generally had duals. Are the tires 20" rim?
