My 1949 KB2

Hello all, back in 1972 my Grandfather passed away in ND. My earliest memory as a kid he had this truck, so I grew up with this truck. When he died I was in the US Navy overseas.
My Grandmother gifted me this truck at that time.
Well years 25 to 30, I along with good friends started to restore the truck. Well then life happened and work stopped. Then approx 15 years ago I wanted to get back at getting it going.
However I decided to stub the truck with a Camaro stub, shorten the frame by 13", then box the rest of the original frame. We put a 455 Pontiac with 4 spd, 2" drop spindles.
So not the traditional truck it used to be but I wanted to keep the look of the truck as close to original as possible. So I hope I haven't offended the traditional IH members.
But one things for sure, there's alot of people out there that love IH.
Thanks to all my friends and those over the years where I have gotten various parts from. I feel truely blessed.

Post up a pic of it when you get a chance. I just bought a truck similar to my grandfather's so I could paint it up like he did and keep it in the family.
