Ahoy from the Northwest
At the present time it's as it was when it rolled out. SD-220, Holly carb with the nice glass bowl. Previous owners wire up for turn signals and a trailer.
In fact, it looks like with the 12 volt conversion took place, everything started being spliced and diced. Everybody greased the zerk's and it's nicely coated to about a inch thick on the frame.
I plan on this being my working truck. The bed is sprayed and not much I can do about that now. From underneath, one or two areas of rust need to be addressed.
I'm going to stabilize a few items before pressing it into service. Detailing the undercarriage and Brake inspection hasn't been done yet. the "formal" inspection is not quite done. From the initial inspection enough items were found that I wanted to get the brakes inventory in hand before popping them open. Just not sure what we are going to find....
I have a spreadsheet of items to address. I needed that just to manage what I've signed off on and the need to track the parts.
Anyway, it's a good truck, I love it's profile and I'll care for it. I'll be keeping it as original as possible and safe to drive.
and for all the people that give the high five's and smiles as we pass on the road, I'm driving it for you.
