Re: Need engine hauled from BC or north Washington to Portla

Well it looks like things are starting to come together! Unless old Murphy's law cause a problem it looks like xxl will be able to haul the engine for me.

The only snag now is to find a forklift or hoist to transfer the engine from one pickup to another in Bellingham Washington.

So if anyone is near Bellingham and has a forklift or knows of someone with a forklift or hoist, or possibly even a wrecker truck who would be willing to help out it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Bill

I'm not thinking that you will have a problem loading or transfering the engine. It has been reduced to boxes of pieces. There is the head, the cylinder section, the block and the base. I would be surprised if two guys could not handle the move one piece at a time.
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have
Thinking risks being controversial and possibly being offensive

1. Engine has been reassembled. So it's 400-500 lbs in one chunk.
2. Forklift issue is taken care of.

Thanks everyone for input and help!
