Re: Bd 240 vs bg 241

So today the wife and I were out garage saleing and we were on a not so busy hwy. So I opened her to see where 70 mph lands on the tach and the Speedo. It was right at 3000 rpm. We used a GPS device to get accurate readings. Yep my speedo is off 10 to 12 mph at 70. It shows I'm doing 60. So I'll check the rods when I replace the would pan gasket. If all is well then we will run it as is. If we need to tow in a hurry then we will take my big new truck. Otherwise this will help us slow down when we are camping. After all isn't that what your supposed to do on vacation? Or going to car or tractor shows? The wife is in love with this truck. So now just to fix a few safety issues such as brakes and oil leaks. Modify the stearing column so it can collapse. A new fuel tank. Then it on to body work and interior comforts. I'll try to post pics of progress when I can.
