Floor Pan Thickness A110

Hi all,

Getting ready to make front floor pans for our 59 A110. Anyone make these before and recall the sheet metal thickness? It looks to be around 15 gauge, .070". Does that sound about right?

Thanks!

The floor is 16 gauge. I have never seen 15 gauge.
Get cold rolled. Galvanized is not a good choice because of the toxic fumes given off during welding. Metal Super Market will have what you need.

Thanks Nikki! I was having trouble gauging it with all the rust and scale in the way. I appreciate the help!

IHC used some good materials for the trucks, BUT, they failed to use rust protection. Some of the trucks did not have paint on the box and cab where they were close together.
Good luck with your project. :t3909:
