1968 travelette 4 door PU
Posted: Tue Jun 01, 2021 12:11 pmI bought one of these awhile back. Starting the process to get the title inspected as it is an out of State title.
On these PU did they stamp the VIN in the frame on the left side near the front/rear spring hanger?
I have scrapped and wire brushed that area off and nothing is there.
On my 1974 the VINS are in that area.
My title matches the tag on the door but if they want to see it elsewhere I am not sure where to look for it.
Or in the earlier years like this did they not stamp the frames.
This truck came out of NE. and in KS they want to see the VIN. somewhere besides the door post.
If it make any difference this is a 2 WD.
