So I know finding sheetmetal for a 59 A110 is basically impossible, but figured I'd bounce my latest thought off you guys anyway...
I need rear cab corners, and was wondering if any models that have reproduction cab corners available are close enough that I can cut, modify, weld, (whatever it takes) to make them work... Basically looking for a starting point using something close, as opposed to trying to make something from a piece of sheetmetal.
I'm a ways off from needing them, but besides these and floor pans the rest of the cab is decent, so I'm trying to plan...

Look to other contour areas on your truck and others for similar shape that could be "cut" out and then formed to fit. I have always wondered about the 50's trucks and fender or possibly hood curves. Just a thought.

I have made curves patch panels. This is not difficult, but, it takes a little time and some effort.

There is very little chance of another body part being close to a good fit. There is a 100% chance that the body part will have to be reformed. There is not advantage.

You may never know how good you are at metal forming until you try. My father insisted that I attend trade school as an apprentice. This is where I discovered I have a talent for metal work.. My best advice to you is, 1, wear ear and eye protection and 2, make the first move. 3, buy some tools.
I am able to give you advice from decades of hands-on experience.
You will discover that your enjoyment of the project comes when you can say, "I did it all myself."
The trades have treated me really well and I have made a very good living.

A suggestion. If I were to buy any hammers for this job, I would get the EASTWOOD 48 OZ. BOSSING DEAD BLOW MALLET and possibly another smaller teardrop hammer to follow up. The sandbag is a good deal and probably necessary. The bigger hammer will move the metal quickly and if you are careful it may be all you really need.

This trunk lid was repaired with formed pieces. It is impossible to tell where the joins are. This is a learned skill, You can do it.
