BD240 Bearings

Hi All,

I am having no luck finding new connection rod bearings for a 1959 BD240. Sealed Power makes a set, 1575CPA, but they all are either .010, .020, or .040 undersized. The machine shop didn't have to do much to the crack, so I am trying to find standard size bearings, which is also what I removed.
I found a set of main bearings, Sealer Power 935M, which are a standard size.
Any ideas?
Also can't seem to find a thermostat... Its IHC part number 108 119 R91, or the hotter one 108 120 R91.

Thanks!

Re: BD240 Bearings

For thermostats, look at Gates #33038, Stant Superstat #65478, NAPA #THM191, O’Reilly (Murray) #3478
