I thought argent was a bright silver? I can't think of another name for gold.
For those of us who are my age Argent is also a 70s rock band. "Ride, Captain, Ride?"
Just wondering, thanks, Don

I had to check and here is a quote from "International, A Color History" by Patrick Ertel and Tom Brownell.
External changes were limited to a silver background on the front emblem (for 1959 the emblem's background had been black).
Another interesting note, for 1960 the 266 V8 became the standard engine. A six cylinder engine had to be special ordered.

Oh I was so close!
And "Brandy" ? Who did that? Bill Murray used to do a sleazy version.
Argent was a one hit wonder?

You could be a 70s DJ!
I listened to these songs over and over but I guess the band names didn't sink in.
I used to think " Mississippi Queen" was by CCR and it was by Mountain?
