1959 B120 Travelall V8 Engine Swap

I am thinking about buying a wrecked 1965 travelall for parts. The main parts I am looking for is the roof cap as mine is full of rust holes. It also has a few other parts that I could use like some of the glass, rear seat ect.

The parts truck has a V8 in it too, I think its a 345 but not sure. This 1965 also had factory (may be aftermarket) air conditioning and all the brackets pumps, including power steering is there. Since the truck was hit in the side I believe there is nothing wrong with the motor.

The main question I have is how difficult would it be to swap in the V8 into my 1959 that currently has the inline 264. I am assuming since the V8 was offered as an option in 1959 it should be simple to bolt in with the right mounts? I am not sure but was wondering if anyone had any information of what is needed to make the conversion? Engine mounts, ect?

In addition, how much more horse power would I get moving up to a 345 from the 264 six? Will I have any issues with the steering shaft? Any info that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Well, came to terms with the current owner of the Travelall that I plan to purchase for a few parts. It's a 1965 D Travelall, I may have a few parts I will not need like doors, fenders and hood.

Any information that can be provided on swapping in a V8 into my 1959 B120 4x4 would be appreciated!

Could you write a little more slowly, I want to make some notes. This is where we need a Staples EASY button.
I would rather have tools I do not need than to need tools I do not have

Are the motor mounts interchangeable? I am also wondering if the transmission changed between 1960 and 1965?
