1974 IHC 200 exhaust Manifold

I am new to the Forum and didnt find anyone talking about Exhaust manifolds for the late 1974 and 1975 trucks. I have a 1974 200 4X4 Camper special. The passenger side Exhaust manifold is cracked badly. It is a rear dump manifold like they used in the 1975 models. I have searched all over the Internet and havent been able to find one or both of the manifolds. I have found Headers from Stans but would really like to put the OEM Manifolds back on the truck.
Any help you Cornbinder fans give would be greatly appreciated!!

Because I am not familiar with the "newer" trucks at all, What size motor is in your truck? That will probably help in the finding of what you need.

I think the manifold part number you need is: 441 116 C91
I had a few hits from some place I never heard of but it showed the right side manifold rear exit so pretty sure I looked it up correctly. Maybe someone else can take the number and run with it. Just for info the driver side is: 441 119 C1

Re: 1974 IHC 200 exhaust Manifold

I remember being told that those manifolds are hard to find, more so than the manifold that dumps in the center. Depending on where you live, there are several vendors that might have a used one in stock.One good source for me would be SuperScoutSpecialists.com from Springfield, Ohio. I have the best luck calling J.D. or Rob and having them see if they have them in stock. 937-525-0000 is they're phone number. Their are other vendors as well. Scoutmadness, and Scoutconnection come to mind. I have better luck getting to know 1 or 2 vendors, to see who I can trust and go from there. Wish you luck in your endeavors, and let us know how it goes. Bill

Those manifolds are in short supply. Bill referenced SSS in Springfield OH a good trustworthy bunch. You might also try BinderPlanet.com as there are more late model guys on that site. Someone may have a spare that they would part with to another IH guy.

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. I spent so much time trying to get photos of the truck and parts uploaded I forgot to put the Engine size. It has the 392 engine in it.

Re: 1974 IHC 200 exhaust Manifold

A tip for searching with IH pn's... Do not use spaces in the number.
ie;
441 116 C91 as posted
441116C91 This is how the # should look with "manifold" as the description.

Now for the bad news, the above pn (rt, side) doesn't even open a Google search,which means it's either never been posted anywhere or not picked up by a web crawler. (Odd IMO)
I also tried all the last digit configurations I know of and still got zilch.

The left side pn does hit...

Most links are for the many military/aircraft parts surplus vendors. They sell to anyone and most give free quotes,which is good because not everything listed is still available,I've used WBparts to check a few.

Looking in the MT-136 parts manual it lists the center dump manifold for 200 4x4's with the FA-52 (code 02052) front axle.
IH pn 323518C12 which is even available new.
Dorman 674-188
example;
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dorman-Exhaust- ... 0809439590

The 392 in medium duty trucks used a different manifold that is also readily available.
309222C1 IH
674-187 Dorman
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dorman-Exhaust- ... 0735558413

The reason for the rear dump manifolds is for clearance in trucks with side engine mounts,the model I mentioned above has the front of engine mount and therefore no clearance issues.

Headers may be the only option unless a used manifold can be found (good luck).

I don't recall which light line vendor has headers so here's all I have links for.

One I don't seem to have is Outback.

Most have used parts too,it's best to call them for those.

Scottso, allow me to do you the favor of updating your huge file. Outbackparts seems to have reorginized some time back, and can be found as www.outbackihc.com. It has the original style of web page, and the address listed is the same as it was for the past several years. Thank you for all the help you given myself, and others as well. Bill

Re: 1974 IHC 200 exhaust Manifold

Thanks Bill,much appreciated.

They might be the place to try for that manifold,I know others have gotten really hard to find stuff there.
If not they make custom headers which might be necessary for the engine mount clearance(?). I'll bet they have the answer though.

I checked out the gallery,some really nice rides and some really wild ones too.
