Scottso, have you ever tried to think of all the things that might happen, only to find yourself "blowing a fuse" trying to do the right thing? I'm about there... Bill

Re: 1972 1110 4X4

Doesn't look like it Bill,this is what I got when I opened the link...

Sorry, that page was not found.

See if what you need is listed in the book.
Here's the brake section;
https://app.box.com/shared/otkihx6yoa/1 ... 36055368/1

Front brakes depend on the axle code,although that seems to be only due to the backing plate and the rear is by size.
Front see Fig.04-003 & 04-005
Rear 12 x 2-1/2 Fig.04-009
12 x 3 Fig.04-010

If the part has something to do with the self adjusters it may only be available in a self adjuster kit(?). Many of the little parts are like that these days.

One thing I can see by the "hook" type hold down pins is they are Bendix brakes.

The only thing I can think of that has "tabs" is the self adjuster cable guide. You should be able to find a self adjuster repair kit that would contain these guides, if that's what you need. The brakes will work without the self adjuster cable, but would not self adjust.

Re: 1972 1110 4X4

Scottso,THANK-YOU!! In Item:GO4.1brakes.pdf,I went to NT131 Group 04, Fig. 04-002,and # 10,is the part I need. Not quite sure of the description,though. Part Number: 387-987-01,is listed as wire and (star) screw? Part Number 352-946-C1,is listed as Right Adjuster. 99% sure this is the correct part number?? THANKS!! You ARE A LIFE-SAVER!!

Re: 1972 1110 4X4

Bill,you need to look again,Fig.04-002 is for the 1110 4x2.
Key 15 in 04-003 & -005 is the same type of part with a different pn than in 04-002,they are the lever that pushes the adjuster star.

04-002 is a Wagner brake,easy to distinguish from Bendix,Wagner uses small rods (keys 7 & 9 in 04-002) while Bendix uses a cable (key 10 in 04-003/005).

Also,self adjuster kits can be specific to the wheel ie; L/R - Frt./rear, so which is it and the shoe size?

For example...
Here's the kit for Bendix Left front 12 x 2-1/2" brakes;
http://www.fme-cat.com/overlays/part-de ... 01210&vin=

I may be able to get a pn for the lever only but I need the above info.

Re: 1972 1110 4X4

Thanks for the "link"! Definitely not Wagner. This thing has different brakes than specified,since the shoes I purchased for this truck didn't come close to matching the originals. It IS part #10,which I believe to be part #:352-946-C1. (Seen in G04.1 brakes.pdf. This is the pic. of the left front brake. Need the Right Front adjuster clip. THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!! https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-5qYy ... 42/002.JPG

Re: 1972 1110 4X4

Sure looks like Wagner to me.

Since you didn't post the shoe size as I asked,you can take your pick from the links.

http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Catal ... 0197959232

http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Catal ... 0380145089

http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Catal ... 0482211720

THAT is why I ask specific questions and expect the answers so the exact part can be pin pointed.

Do you have the LST? How about a closer (not too close) straight on pic of the brakes? I've looked at all the 4x4 brakes and none seem to jibe with what you have.

Re: 1972 1110 4X4

Scottso,the truck is 40 miles from where I live,and I get out there when time permits. Sorry I don't have the shoe size,just know that they are not the same as replacement.Hardware is completely different. I "Googled" Wagner,as well as Bendix,and they come back with the same results that you posted-Which are all for cable-type adjusters. Mine has a wire from the adjuster clip,to an anchor point on the rear brake shoe. Another wire is anchored from that point,to the top wheel cylinder return spring anchors. You can clearly see the clip/wires/anchor points,from the pic I took.(Better if "Zoomed" to 200%). Not sure when I'll get a chance to get out there,to take measurements/more pic's. B.T.W... THANK-YOU for the Parts LinK!11 I FOUND THE CORRECT PART NUMBER!! 10-352-946-C1. Now,all I have to do is FIND the SUPPLIER that knows how to order one!!
