74 and 75 D200's use different motor mounts- side mounts. Different 4 spd transmissions. Also the exhaust manifolds are rear dump to clear the motor mounts. Not an easy switch but I have heard it can be done. I am not that familiar with Scout mountings to know if they are the same or not. Donner engine would have to be cheap or free to justify the hassle.

Re: Engine Question

Oy!

The ScoutII front mount uses brackets that utilize the four holes in the front of the block which all SV8's have, The brackets are shaped/bent to use what some might call "side mounts" and are totally different than the mounts used in (many, not all) light line trucks of the period. Those engines have additional mounting holes on the sides of the block.

As I stated, the pn for the block is an exact match between the 304 engine in the MT-130 (SII) and MT-136 (150-500).

So all you do is what 1975IH200 said,it's that simple.
