6 volt temp sender

I am in the process of reassembly SD240 engine, looking for replacement water temp sensor, the port is 3/8 NPT. the broken sensor, ran with one wire. system is 6 volt positive ground. any body have a source or current part number..? thanks in advance.

I think you may get lucky and find one on eBay if you keep looking. Other than that, you may have to rob one from another engine.
