Private Messages

How do you send a PM , after I send one it stays in my outbox for a long time , one has been in there for a few months .

PM's will stay in your inbox until the recipient actually reads it. Sometimes the better way is to send an E-mail using the link below their name.
I also have had a couple sit in my "outbox" for a considerable time. One due to a Member deciding that they were not going to participate and another because of a member who is not on very often.

Yea, I've PM'd a few members who "need this part right now!" with offer of the part, no replies, after a year I figure they might not be interested.

I think many miss the message notice at the top. I know I have, and only see it days later.

If you do want notified via e-mail, you need to go to your UCP in the upper left and go to board preferences and edit your settings.
