1946 KB1 Engine

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place or not. I am soon to acquire a 1946 KB1. I'm planning on building a hot rod out of it. Any extra parts will be put up for sale. Can someone give an estimate on what the engine might be worth?

If someone needs it and it runs good, anywhere from $100 to $350, if no one needs it, scrap price. If you can not sell it, please do not forget to take all the smalls(as me) as they are a lot of times the items people need to get theirs running.
Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the input. Everything usable will be put up for sale;motor,trans,frame and any small parts that I don't use.
